Y tennis programs teach fundamentals like grip and stance, highlighting fitness, sportsmanship, and fair play, among boosting bone density and cardiovascular fitness.

The Granite YMCA of Goffstown is featured as a USTA premiere tennis facility with four indoor courts with USPTA and USPTR-certified instruction. We also offer a full-service pro shop including racquets, 48-hour restringing, tennis accessories, and more, which the USTA has recognized.

    Youth Tennis Classes

    4 Years – 17 Years

    Progressive game and activities are designed to introduce and improve all important areas of the game. Starting with the development of a broad athletic base and progressing to tennis-specific activities that will help players develop seamlessly through the three important stages of youth games: red ball phase, orange ball phase, and green ball phase. Youth programs range from weekly lessons to high school training sessions, junior match play, competitive programs, and tournament training.

    Adult Tennis Classes

    18+ Years

    The Y offers lessons to all ages and all levels. Our goal is to develop tennis skills in a fun atmosphere where you can get a great workout, meet new friends, and meet your personal goals. From private and group instruction to seven-week skill development classes, drill sessions, strategy programs, and tennis aerobics, there are a variety of adult tennis options available.

    Tournament Training

    10 Years – 18 Years

    The perfect program for the junior tennis player actively pursuing year-round competition and sanctioned tournament participation. In addition to on-court instruction and workouts, off-court sport science topics are also introduced. Developed for juniors who are looking to compete in USTA events, this program is an all-around tournament training program that covers the same regimen and full spectrum of other top junior programs in the country. Proper dynamic, warm-ups, technique, drilling, mental exercises, visualization, footwork, workouts, stretching, and match player are covered.

  • Court Reservations

    Using Y Tennis PlaybyPoint our members are able to book a variety of tennis services online including open court play, league matches and practices, tennis tournaments, and tennis socials. Tennis courts may be reserved for up to 8 days in advance. Bookings for 8 days in advance open up at 9:00 pm.
