NO SCHOOL DAYS
There are several days throughout the school year when children are off from school, and the Granite YMCA is here to help families with reliable child care on school days off. For an additional fee and separate registration, children can participate in our engaging No School Day Programs designed to keep school-age children active, social, and supported in a safe environment.
Our no school childcare programs include a variety of enrichment activities, group games, creative projects, and recreational fun throughout the day. Children do not need to be enrolled in the School Age Child Care Program to participate, but pre-registration is required for all No School Day Programs.

VACATION CAMPS
The YMCA offers exciting Vacation Camp Programs during school vacation weeks in December, February, and April. These school vacation camps provide children with opportunities to stay active, make friends, and enjoy engaging experiences while school is out of session.
Our vacation week camps may include themed activities, gym games, hands-on projects, choice time activities, creative enrichment opportunities, and more. Spots in our school break camps are filled on a first come, first served basis. Children do not need to be enrolled in the School’s Out Program to participate, but pre-registration is required.

SNOW DAYS
When winter weather closes schools, the YMCA provides snow day child care programs designed to keep children active, engaged, and having fun in a safe and supportive environment. Our child care staff plans creative crafts, team-building games, hands-on enrichment activities, indoor recreation, and more to help make school closure child care enjoyable for children throughout the day. Snow Day Programs are open to families currently enrolled in our school age child care program. Families not currently enrolled are also welcome to participate, though additional paperwork is required prior to attendance. Children should bring weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and a cold lunch for the day.
