    OUR IMPACT

    This past year, donations to The Granite YMCA allowed us to provide:

    • 7,255 individuals and families a YMCA membership.
    • 406 individuals access to Y programs, helping them achieve their goals and find a sense of belonging.
    • $137,918 to caregivers, allowing them safe and trustworthy childcare while they work.
    • 445 youth access to social-emotional educational programs.
    • $188,649 to families, giving children access to summer programs.

    Through our members and program participants, The Granite YMCA reaches more than 35,000 people annually.

    Supported by your Community Campaign donations, we provide membership and program scholarships through financial assistance to 12,937 people all across the state of New Hampshire.

Since its inception in 1854, The Granite YMCA has grown from one facility in Downtown Manchester to locations all across the state of New Hampshire. The Granite YMCA is part of the worldwide non-profit YMCA organization. With locations in Manchester, Goffstown, Concord, Londonderry, Portsmouth, Somersworth, Strafford, and Alton, we focus on youth development, healthy living, family strengthening, and social responsibility.

Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities, has awarded The Granite YMCA the coveted 4-star rating. This award demonstrates The Granite YMCA’s strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. Our annual report captures how the YMCA and our volunteers impact the communities we serve as well as the accomplishments of The Granite YMCA’s Strategic Plan to help our communities thrive.
