Early Learning Center
Open year round, registration for the YMCA's Early Learning Center is ongoing on a space-available basis. To help make our programs even more accessible for families, we offer sibling discounts, financial aid, and accept state assistance.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM | 3 - 4 Years

There’s plenty for kids and parents to love about the YMCA's Preschool Program. Kids will enjoy moving their bodies, gaining new knowledge and skills, exploring nature, and create lasting friendships and memories. Our adult role models provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social emotional, and cognitive development of young children. The enriching curriculum includes outdoor play, fitness, STEM, social emotional learning, character development, choice time, nutrition, cooking, healthy snacks, and so much more. The program runs 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.

PRE-K PROGRAM | 4 - 5 Years

Our Pre-K Program, located at the YMCA of Greater Londonderry, is designed to ignite the love of learning. This full-day program at the Y is a fun, safe and productive way for your child to spend their time. Our friendly child care staff will focus on a wide range of activities including an enriching curriculum, outdoor play, nutrition & fitness, healthy snack, STEM, character development, cooking, choice time and much more. The program runs 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.

Kindergarten Wrap Around Program
- Kindergarten Wrap Around: Created specifically for Moose Hill School students. Transportation is included!
- Full & Part Time Kindergarten: Perfect for homeschoolers and families that are looking for flexibility.
Located at the YMCA of Greater Londonderry, we offer a variety of convenient kindergarten programs that are designed to ignite the love of learning. We provide a caring and fun environment that encourages children’s natural curiosity and expression. Program also features gym classes outside and in our spacious gymnasium, nature activities, outdoor play on the field and playground, music classes, and cooking activities. Transportation is provided for Kindergarten Wrap Around so children can attend the morning program, afternoon program, and after school program if needed.

There are several days throughout the school year when school is not in session. For an additional fee and separate registration, you can enroll your children in our No School Days Program. At the Y, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to participate in a variety of enrichment opportunities and activities. Children do not have to be enrolled in the School Age Child Care or Kindergarten Wrap Around Programs in order to participate, but pre-registration is required.

During school vacation weeks in December, February, and April, the Y offers a vacation camp program at the YMCA of Greater Londonderry. We offer theme-based programs, gym games, and other choice activities. Spots are filled on a first come, first served basis. Children do not have to be enrolled in the School Age Child Care or Kindergarten Wrap Around Program in order to participate, but pre-registration is required.

Snow Days

SNOW DAYS | K - 8 (starting at 8:00 am)

The Y offers full day care on most snow days for current program participants. Necessary paperwork must be completed for children who are not currently enrolled in our school age child care programs. See your child's site for specific inclement weather policies. Parents and guardians are required to supply a nutritious lunch for full day care. The YMCA branch and program opening and closing information will be announced on WMUR and will be posted on the YMCA Facebook page.

Please call the YMCA after 6:00 am on a snow day. If a snow day program is running, it will be held at the YMCA starting at 8:00 am, weather pending.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance

At the Y, we do offer financial assistance for those families in need. We also accept State of New Hampshire reimbursements. Proof of assistance and a completed child care provider form (1863) must be provided at time of registration. All families who receive financial assistance, whether through the Y or the State, must also stay current with their payments. Families are responsible for all fees not paid by the state. The state will not generally pay for any absences, nor will they pay late or no-call fees, or for days in which your child is picked up early and does not attend the minimum number of hours.
