Manchester Summer Program

Adventures, New Friends & Fun

Catch the Wave Into Summer! 2026 day camp registration is now open for returning families and Y members! Registration will open for non members on February 2 at 10:00 am.

At The Granite YMCA of Manchester’s Summer Program, children spend the summer both indoors and outdoors participating in fun and enriching activities including trips to the local parks where they participate in sports and non-competitive gym games through the CATCH Program (Coordinated Approach to Child Health).

Children will also enjoy a wide variety of activities such as swimming, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), creative arts, and more! Dedicated to helping develop the whole child physically, intellectually, and socially, we will also focus on health and wellness through instruction on nutrition and ways to promote a healthy lifestyle. Throughout the summer, children participate in special themed events and learn unique traditions. Every week children have the opportunity to be recognized for displaying our character values.

In all of our day camp programs, we always lead with the Y's core values.

MEET THE STAFF

  • Tito Torres

    Downtown Summer Program Director

Tito grew up in Manchester and Amherst, NH and joined the YMCA of Downtown Manchester staff team in 2025. Before coming to the Y, he was a physical education teacher. Tito attended camp for 7 years at YMCA Camp Belknap on Lake Winnipesaukee growing up. He chose to work at the Y because he wants to give back to the community he was raised in. There are a lot of needs and he wants to give children the same opportunities he was given and help change lives for the better.
