Experience the Best Summer Ever at the Y

Catch the Wave Into Summer! 2026 day camp registration is now open for returning families and Y members! Registration will open for non-members on February 5 at 10:00 am.

At The Granite YMCA of the Seacoast’s Camp Gundalow in Greenland, NH, campers spend the summer both indoors and outdoors participating in fun and enriching activities while making lifelong friends and memories. Our day camp offers an array of fun activities, including swimming, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), creative arts, and so much more. Throughout the summer, campers participate in special themed camp events and learn unique camp traditions. Every week, campers have the opportunity to be recognized for displaying our character values.

YMCA Camp Gundalow offers a variety of day camp programs including traditional camp, specialty camps, leadership camps, and more. Learn about all of our camp offerings below!

  • Counselor and camper at Greenland Day Camp

    Camp Gundalow Explorers

    Entering 1st - 2nd Grade

    Our youngest campers will create lasting friendships with their cabin mates as they participate in typical camp activities, such as sports, arts, archery, and swimming! Campers will gain a sense of independence and responsibility as they try new experiences at Camp Gundalow.

  • Camp Gundalow Pioneers

    Entering 3rd - 4th Grade

    Our Pioneer unit is the newest addition to Gundalow, campers will build upon their experiences and participate in the same activities they love at camp such as swimming, sports, archery, and art!

  • Camp Gundalow Trailblazers

    Entering 5th - 6th Grade

    Campers in our Trailblazer unit will form lasting friendships and memories all summer long! Their days will consist of typical camp activities and teambuilding with their cabinmates, with great counselors and role models to help along the way.

  • Camp Gundalow Voyagers

    Entering 7th - 9th Grade

    Our oldest campers will be expanding their horizons as they take on adventures and explore the seacoast this summer! Trips include hikes, beaches, amusement parks, movies, and more! Camp days will consist of swimming, archery, sports, arts & crafts, and team building. Voyagers is a trip camp and campers must accompany the group on all trips.

  • Specialty Camps

    Entering 3rd - 9th Grade

    Get creative during specialty camps at Camp Gundalow! For those interested in the arts, sports and more, join us for day camp programs including football, all-star sports, theater, Lego’s, fort building, DIY art, and more. A typical day starts off with specialty activities, followed by lunch and additional activities like swimming, structured games, and more.

  • Leader In Training (LIT)

    Entering 8th - 9th Grade

    The Leader In Training program is a blended, two-week camp experience for teens. This opportunity will introduce teens to the Y leadership philosophy, facilitating character development, learning to build and lead activities, as well as give them time to enjoy being a camper. Teens who register for this program will be asked to complete an application and interview process to demonstrate their readiness and excitement for the program.

  • Counselor In Training (CIT)

    Entering 10th - 11th Grade

    The Counselor In Training (CIT) program is a four-week camp experience for the teen who wants to make a difference, and potentially work in camp when they are of age. In this program, participants will work on individual and group dynamics, character development, life skills, and more! They will learn about and gain introductions to assisting with programming.A certificate will be provided at a recognition event at the end of the summer.

MEET THE GREENLAND DAY CAMP STAFF

  • Zach Robidoux

    Zach Brikiatis

    Camp Gundalow Director

    Zach joined The Granite YMCA staff in 2020 where he worked as the director of Camp Coney Pine. He has worked in the camp and afterschool field since he was 16 years old. Prior to the Y, he spent 7 years running afterschool and camp programming. In 2022, Zach became the Camp Gundalow and Teen Services Director for YMCA of the Seacoast. Zach strives to create quality programs where kids can experience safe spaces to learn and grow, and work with staff and families to better the community.
