Celebrating The Y's Legacy
The Granite YMCA's annual Reach Out for Youth and Families campaign provides support to the community’s children, adults, and families. It is only through the support of volunteers and donors that the Y is able to help the community to be healthy, confident, connected and secure. This year marks the 29th annual dinner celebrating the impact that The Granite YMCA has on the youth and the communities that it serves.
This year's theme for the fundraising dinner campaign was "Celebrating the Y's Legacy" which had a strong focus on summer camp, as it is one of the Y's greatest legacy's. The agenda for the evening was based around a day at camp including a powerful opening and closing campfire ceremony. All proceeds from this annual benefit dinner support Reach Out for Youth and Families financial assistance programs. Last year, more than 19,941 youth, individuals and families received support to become members of the Y and participate in Y programs.
The Y has been listening and responding to the community’s most critical needs for over 160 years. Whether developing skills or emotional well-being, welcoming and connecting diverse populations or advocating for healthier communities, the Y fosters the care and respect all people need and deserve.
