Great Summers Start at the Y

Kick off a rad summer adventure! Registration opens at 10:00 am on December 4 for returning families. Day camp registration will open for members on January 8 and on February 5 for non members.

The Granite YMCA of Londonderry’s Camp Pa-Gon-Ki is a traditional day camp where campers spend the summer outdoors, experiencing a wide variety of activities and opportunities to create new friendships and appreciate the natural world around them! Each week, campers participate in camp-wide special theme-based events and enjoy unique camp traditions such as learning the camp cheer and other favorite camp songs. Our talented staff provides the opportunity for campers to learn something new, make friends, and build lasting memories.

The Granite YMCA of Londonderry offers a variety of day camp programs including traditional camp, specialty camps, leadership camps, and more. Learn about all of our camp offerings below!

  • Camp Pa-Gon-Ki

    Entering 1st - 9th Grade

    Camp activities for campers in grades 1 – 4 are designed to build confidence, encourage exploration into new areas, and discover untapped talents. Activities for campers in grades 5 – 9  are designed to build confidence, encourage exploration into new areas, and discover untapped talents. Oaks & Willows activities emphasize independence and learning the importance of team building and leadership skills.

  • Specialty Camps

    Entering 2nd - 8th Grade

    Let the fun begin during specialty camps at Camp Pa-Gon-Ki! Each summer, we offer specialized camps for kids interested in exploring their interests and creativity. Specialty camps may include cooking, sports, fort building, Lego, art, Pokémon, and more. A typical day starts off with specialty activities, followed by lunch and additional activities like swimming, structured games, and more.

  • Leader In Training (LIT)

    Entering 8th - 9th Grade

    The Leader In Training program is a blended, two-week camp experience for teens. This opportunity will introduce teens to the Y leadership philosophy, facilitating character development, learning to build and lead activities, as well as give them time to enjoy being a camper. Teens who register for this program will be asked to complete an application and interview process to demonstrate their readiness and excitement for the program.

  • Counselor In Training (CIT)

    Entering 10th - 11th Grade

    The Counselor In Training (CIT) program is a four-week camp experience for the teen who wants to make a difference, and potentially work in camp when they are of age. In this program, participants will work on individual and group dynamics, character development, life skills, and more! They will learn about and gain introductions to assisting with programming.A certificate will be provided at a recognition event at the end of the summer.

*There is no additional charge for extended care.

    Jon Buck

    Operations Director

    Jon joined the YMCA of Greater Londonderry in 2022 as the Director of Camp and Youth Development. Jon loves to connect with the community and from a young age has been involved with recreational summer camp, youth group, marching band, and Boy Scouts. As an adult, he volunteered his time as his neighborhood’s HOA President for many years. Jon enjoys creating the best experience for children and hopes that every camper and staff member leaves camp with many happy, lifelong memories.
