Summer Stories Are Made at the Y

Kick off a rad summer adventure! Registration opens at 10:00 am on December 5 for returning families. Day camp registration will open for members on January 9 and on February 6 for non members.

Located at Beaver Meadow School, Camp Mowkawogan offers an enriching full summer day camp experience. This is where children build self-confidence, make friends, and create memories. Each camper will have the opportunity to swim at the YMCA of Concord, take field trips to state parks, explore nature on local hikes, and so much more.

For SUN, FUN & FRIENDSHIP

The Granite YMCA of Concord offers a variety of day camp activities in our traditional camp for children ages 6 – 12 and Leader In Training program for teens ages 13 – 14. Learn about all of our camp offerings below!

  • Camp Mowkawogan

    Entering 1st - 7th Grade

    Camp Mowkawogan offers an enriching full summer day camp experience. This is where children build self-confidence, make friends and create memories. Each camper will have the opportunity to swim at local and Granite YMCA pools, as well as take field trips to state parks. This is a state licensed exempt program.

  • Leader In Training (LIT)

    Entering 8th - 9th Grade

    The Leader In Training program is a blended, two-week camp experience for teens. This opportunity will introduce teens to the Y leadership philosophy, facilitating character development, learning to build and lead activities, as well as give them time to enjoy being a camper. Teens who register for this program will be asked to complete an application and interview process to demonstrate their readiness and excitement for the program.

MEET THE STAFF

    Scott Guyer

    Camp Mowkawogan Director

    Scott joined the YMCA of Concord staff in early 2022 as the Assistant Director of Camp and Youth Development. He brought with him experience in elementary after school/summer camp programming, as well as middle school behavior intervention. Scott has enjoyed coaching sports at the middle and high school level. Scott enjoys bringing his own flair to camp, creating positive lasting memories for all participants.
